National Navigation Company Receives Prestigious Maritime Sustainability Award for the First Time in Its History

National Navigation Company (NNC) is proud to announce a significant milestone in its journey of excellence, having been awarded, for the first time in its history, the “Environmental Sustainability Support and Enhancement of the Efficiency and Competitiveness of the Egyptian Merchant Fleet Award.”

The award was presented by the Maritime Transport Sector during the celebration of World Maritime Day 2026, held under the patronage of H.E. Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport, and received by Mr. Mohamed Soliman Metwally, Managing Director of National Navigation Company, during the official ceremony which was attended by distinguished leaders and stakeholders from Egypt’s maritime transport industry. 

This achievement marks an important milestone for NNC and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing fleet efficiency, supporting environmental sustainability, and strengthening its competitive position within the maritime transport sector.
